Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS) 2012

(edit 26 Jan: The gala dinner is full. A waiting list is now being prepared)

School suppliers are invited to book exhibition space at the Swiss Group of International Schools conference to be held at the Zug campus of the International School of Zug and Luzerne on 9-10 March 2012. The SGIS conference is attended by delegates of the organisation's member schools and some 200 teachers are expected.

The exhibition is an informal, table-top event held in foyers in the same building as the conference meetings, ensuring good opportunities for exhibitors to participate in the conference, to engage with delegates and have plenty of foot-fall.

Exhibition Costs

1st table, includes 1 delegate and 1 conference gala dinner place: CHF 475
additional tables (table only, no delegate/dinner): CHF 215 each
additional attendee (without dinner): CHF 180
additional dinner: CHF 95 (edit 26 Jan: The gala dinner is full. A waiting list is now being prepared)

Basic Logistics

A more complete description of arrangements is now available here.

Further exhibition logistics information and joining instructions will be published soon, but for immediate requirements here are the bare bones:

Exhibition set up: Thursday afternoon and evening, 8 March
Exhibition Day 1: Friday 9 March from 08.00 followed by Conference Gala Dinner in Zug
Exhibition Day 2: Saturday 10 March, ending mid-afternoon (the conference has been extended into the afternoon of the Saturday, so exhibitors will have better value this year).

A floor plan will be produced in the new year and exhibitors who reserve their space will be given the opportunity to select their space. Priority will be given to exhibitors in order of receipt of the reservation.

Sponsorship, Advertising and Raffles

There are plenty of opportunities for exhibitors to make the most of promoting themselves at this event through sponsorship, advertising and raffle prize donations. Please contact Steven James to discuss this further.
